How to remove a registrant?
You can use the 'Edit Registrant' module within the admin mode to manually remove
people from a class. But this will not send them any email . If you want the user to receive
a confirmation of the cancellation, then logout of admin mode and go to the class where they are
registered. Then put their name in the registration form and
check the box for " Remove from class ( Enter Name of student: only )". Click the
'Register' button and this should remove from the class and send them a confirmation of this.
How to add a location or other special field to
the description?
If you end any word with a : after it, then the program will
automatically make that word bold and put it on a separate line. So to add location
to your description, just type Location: somewhere when entering the
description and you will see the Location: bold and on a new online. This works for
any word, not just location . So you could also enter Cost: and that would come on
a new line and bold.
How to list classes that span several days?
For multi-day classes you would need to request that feature be turned on
in your system. By default it is not turned on. This will let you specify
a start and end date for each class.
How to view details of classes that have alreay taken place?
All details of classes that have taken place within the last 30
days will be available in all the Admin modules. After 30 days the software
automatically erases them and clears all their content out.
What does the Renew Module do?
The renew module lets you erase a class of all it's registrants and change the date
to a future date. This is useful if a class has finished and instead of re-entering all
the information again, you can use the renew module to set it up in the future easily.
How to setup the system to accept payments through our PayPal Business Account?
There are two ways to accept online payments for your online registrations. The first
way requires the user to pay for the class to register for the class. The second way lets
anyone register with the option of paying now through PayPal or later in person or over the
phone. The first way is described below, i.e forcing the user to pay online in order for
their registration to go through.
First the user comes
to the site to sign up for the class. After filling in all the information, they are sent to
your PayPal business account to pay. Once the funds are received, the site then processes
their registration and adds them to the list of registrants.
To do this you need to turn on
Instant Payment Notification - (IPN) in your Paypal Business Account. After logging
into your account in PayPal click on MyAccount -> Profile. Under Seller Preferences
you should see Instant Payment Notifications Preferences. Click on it, the click on the
Edit button. Check the checkbox to turn it on and paste this URL into the input field:
This basically tells PayPal to notify the registration software that user has paid and to
process their registration.
